I'm Manolis, a professional fisherman with a deep-rooted love for the sea. Born and raised in Rethymno, the sea has always been a part of my life.
From a young age, I was drawn to the water, spending my school years by the shore, learning the ways of the sea and dreaming of the adventures it held.
My journey began working on fishermen’s boats, where I gained invaluable experience and a true appreciation for the art of fishing.
After many years at sea, learning from seasoned fishermen, I knew that this was more than just a job—it was my passion and my way of life. It was only natural that I would one day set sail on my own journey, becoming a fisherman with my own boat.
The Birth of Rethymno Fishing Trip
Wanting to share my love for the sea and the excitement of fishing, I created Rethymno Fishing Trip – The Lucky Hook. My goal was simple: to offer people the chance to experience what it’s like to be a fisherman for a day. More than just a tour, this is an authentic experience, giving you the thrill of casting your line, feeling the tug of the fish, and embracing the peaceful yet exhilarating rhythm of life at sea.
